Gunna have a good day
Happy Monday

Howdy!
In this issue: having a great day, very funny podcast and a reminder to call your people
Optimize for a good day
One of my favorite books is Daily Rituals: How Artists Work by Mason Currey. Bradley gave it to me years ago. The book is a collection of how 150+ legendary people design their days to create.
As you can imagine, no two are the same. It’s a mix of early risers and late night tinkerers. Drunks and devotional readers. Strict schedulers and loosey gooseys. You find yourself deeply resonating with some and bewildered how others survived.
The entire gist is to be a creative person (which everyone is whether you see it or not) and having set habits that allow for new ideas and inspiration to flow in that big brain of yours.
We’ve lived enough days at this point to know what happiness and success looks like versus what does not.
For instance, weekdays 9am to whenever I eat lunch is my most productive time of the day. During this time, I try to limit meetings if possible, allow myself to think somewhat deeply and open time to allow for new perspectives from new people.
A good life is built by a series of great days.
Putting habits in place frees up the creative mind to excel, creating a positive feedback loop that leads to better days and, ultimately, a better life.
What Else
🦘 Australia’s Social Media Ban Results are In and Nothing has Changed
Remember in December when Australia mandated social media companies to set 16 years old as the minimum age? Well, after an initial sharp decline, usage for ages 10-15 is back to original levels because no shit, kids will figure it out. So the “$18 billion” flick on the wrist for Zucky and Meta last week is laughable that social media habits will change.
📖 Cancel Me if You Can by Dave Portnoy
As a Barstool Sports fan aka Stoolie, I enjoyed listening to the audio for this book narrated by Dave himself. If you’re biased like me, then you’ll enjoy it. If you do not like Barstool as a media outlet or do not know who Dave is, you will probably not like it. Friendly reminder, you get one free audiobook a month on a paid Spotify account.
😂 Stavvy’s World is Pretty Dern Funny
Stavros Halkias is on a run right now with roles in big movies, TV shows and a podcast that gets clipped constantly. If you don’t mind how he looks, check out his new studio and conversation with the very funny Mary Beth Barone.
